Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby Winners!

Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby sent 9 racers to Akron Ohio to compete in the FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby. They were honored Tuesday night at the Lyons City Council meeting when the Mayor issued proclamations on the team's behalf and to Cash Driggers for winning the First Energy Rally Masters World Champion and urges all citizens to express their pride in this accomplishment and extend their appreciation for good sportsmanship, hard work, and dedication.

Thank you Katherine Head for chairing the Soap Box Derby committee. A big thank you to the committee, parents, friends, and well-wishers for keeping Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby alive in Lyons for 30 years!
