2023 Miss SEGSBD Scholarship Pageant Winners

The Miss SEGSBD Scholarship Pageant was held on February 18th, 2023 at STC. Pageant Director, Leslie Harrell treated everyone to a little history lesson in Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby Pageant having pictures of the past queens on display. The Frank Smith Scholarship was announced. Frank has been a great supporter in the past and since his passing, the committee wanted to honor him by naming the Miss Scholarship Award in his honor.

This year's pageant was one of the derby's largest with 72 contestants taking the stage. The winners are as follows:  

Emma Waters - Miss Southeast Georgia Soap Box Queen, Ramsey Vann - 1st runner-up & Carmen Rodgers Murray Award, Mel Smith - 2nd runner-up

Melea Pittman - Teen Miss Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby, Kenzie Hinson -  1st runner-up, Interview & Photogenic, Madison Page - 2nd runner-up, Alyssa Head - People's Choice

Kynsley Reece Touchton - Junior Miss Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby & Interview, Kinsleigh Dixon - 1st runner-up, Abigail Goss - 2nd runner-up & Interview, Ansley Kate Smith - 3rd Runner-Up

Brayleigh Butler - Young Miss Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby, Finley Wallace - 1st runner-up & Photogenic, Lyla Sapp - 2nd runner-up, Brennah Laylen Bland, 3rd runner up
