Super Kids Race

The National Super Kids Classic is a Soap Box Derby® race for physically and mentally challenged children from around the world.

Local races are held throughout the year. Winners from each local race advance to the world-famous Derby Downs Track in Akron, Ohio, for the world championship with the FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby Race.

The Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby is proud to be part of the Super Kids program. We have four custom-built cars that can carry an experienced driver and a Super Kid down Derby Hill. The race is held the day before the local race, the first Saturday in May.
