2024 RS Sauce Contest
Description
Turn in your sauces(s) Friday, October 4th, 7:30 pm at the Lyons Main Street Office, 124 NW Broad St. You may enter up to three sauces, The cost is $15 per entry.
The BBQ sauces are judged that night by our amateur judges.
The prizes will be awarded at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday in Partin Park during the Awards Ceremony.
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR BBQ SAUCE CONTEST
•The contest is open to the public, professional, and amateur BBQ teams.
•Receive the required turn-in container at the Lyons Main Street Office, 124 NW Broad St., on Friday, October 4th between 5:00 pm and 5:45 pm.
•Turn in your sauce(s) entries to the same location at 7:30 p.m.
•The field is limited to the first 30 entries (including entries from our BBQ teams).
•Sauces do not have to be prepared on-site.
•Sauces will be judged on appearance and taste.
•Your entry must be at least enough for 6 judges to sample.
